Designation General Manager / Senior General Manager / Assoc. Vice President – Products

 

Role summary What is the purpose of this role?  Why does it exist?

·         Strategic

o   Shares the Vision and Strategy of the Products Delivery Unit (BU) in the Publishing & corporate Sectors

o   Accountable for driving financials at Gross Margin level for the DU delivering world-class product(s) / workflow solutions to target markets / market segments based on key outcome metrics

o   Owns the budgeted Revenue & Gross margins for the DU

o   Drives ‘innovation’ as a culture and part of the Delivery organization’s DNA

·         Program / Product Management

·         Team Management

o   Builds and manages a delivery team of product engineering and solutions professionals

o   Directs the various product development teams with an entrepreneurial spirit

o   Implements Lean Start-up disciplines, develops a reliable partner network augmenting in-house capabilities and efficiency

o   Actively engaging in trade-off discussions between capability and schedule

o   Drives the cross-functional (and sometimes cross-division or cross-Unit) collaborative efforts to meet development schedule commitments

 

·         Sales & Marketing Collaboration

o   Working collaboratively with KAM team for existing customers

o   Working with the Marketing, Sales and Key Accounts teams to plan innovative go-to-market strategies

o

Experience / Skills o   Leadership Experience in Program Management and Product Development.

o   Exposure to Publishing Market / Education & Learning Services is an added advantage

o   Hands-on technology leader with 15+ years of experience in architecture, design/development of large scale platforms / products

o   Excellent experience in guiding a product from ‘concept’ through ‘implementation’, production deployment and support

o   Experience in creating end-to-end business performance metrics

o   Experience in managing Revenue & Gross Margins

o   Has experience in launching new products or solutions with demonstrated commercial success

·         Works with other business leaders in positioning Integra as a go-to partner for disruptive business technologies, workflow solutions and product development needs
